The goal of Boston University's instructor facilitated Online CMA Exam Preparation Program is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the material covered by the CMA Examinations, as well as the nature of the exam itself. It will completely prepare students to successfully test for the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) CMA exams, thereby enabling them to earn the Certified Management Accountant designation. To that end, the courses include numerous tools specifically designed to assist the learning process including:

According to 2007 salary survey conducted by Smartpros.com, average CMAs salary is over $97,000 but when combined with another designation CMAs earn on average $148,000- The highest of any accounting
certification.
